| Stars: | The Three Stooges |
| Director: | Del Lord |
| Studio: | Columbia Pictures |
Production & Preservation Note: This scene from An Ache In Every Stake is a great example of a filming location virtually unchanged - a rarity in Los Angeles. The very steep hillside has not - and likely can not - be developed, though I'll keep an eye on it for any changes.
The Three Stooges are running an ice delivery business and during their rounds, they encounter a customer who needs ice delivered up a very long flight of steps.
First things first. These are NOT the same steps used in the Academy Award-winning Laurel and Hardy movie The Music Box. THOSE steps are located at the intersection of Del Monte Drive and North Vendome Street, about 2 miles to the west.
Fortunately, like The Music Box Steps, the steps used as the filming location for An Ache In Every Stake are just as they were when they were immortalized on film decades ago.
